What do I need for an energy quote?

All you have to do is provide us with your last electric or natural gas bill along with the expiration date of your energy contract, if any. We will do a usage analysis and recommend one or more suppliers. Contact us!

How long do I have to commit to an energy supplier?

We can offer contracts of various lengths, six months, one year, two years or more. We can also offer a variable rate that does not obligate you to the supplier for any term, allowing you to switch at any time in the future without penalty.

How do I guarantee my rates are always the best?

At any one time different suppliers have different relative rates. Avatar consultants know which suppliers are a good fit for your situation. But there is no way to predict commodity markets. You may want to maintain a short term contract, or even a variable rate, so you can renegotiate every few months. Or you may want to lock in with a long term contract so your business cost structure is more predictable. In any case, Avatar will help you monitor and negotiate the markets.

What if I’m happy with my current supplier?

Many of our customers are comfortable with long-term supplier relationships. Avatar can help you with them by negotiating with your current supplier for a lower rate.

Who do I call if there is a power outage?

Your energy comes from two organizations, the utility that generates and transmits the energy and reads your meter and the supplier that manages energy and supplies it to the grid. In the case of an outage or equipment damage you call your utility, just as you always have.

Will service be interrupted if I switch?

No, switching suppliers is a financial transaction, not a physical or equipment transaction.
